Geolocation of properties

Geopositioning properties is important for working with our portfolio. The real estate portals to which we send data tend to use the latitude and longitude values to position our properties in their searches, thus avoiding the use of other fields such as Area or Locality. In addition, knowing the exact location gives us many future possibilities for requests based on maps, etc.

View on map

In this new version, inmotek incorporates a map visualization tool. You only have to click on (View on map) in any of the listings for sale and rent. It is on the upper left side of the property list. You can do a search with the filters and click View on map.

Once you have viewed the map you will see that each house icon represents a property and is located exactly where the property is located. If the icon is located incorrectly, it is because the location data of the property is incorrect. To fix this, you must edit the address of the property by choosing a street from those offered by Google.

When you select a street and number, the zip code, latitude and longitude are automatically filled in.

Search for properties NOT geolocated

There will be a good number of properties that do not have the latitude and longitude data, remember that this is a new feature of inmotek and your older properties will not have this data, so you can search for example for all your non-geopositioned properties in your portfolio and edit the address to make it match the Google address.

For them, open the filters and choose the field shown in the image.

Disclaimer and notice

Street names are offered by Google according to the names approved by town councils and provincial governments. Not finding a street by the name we think it has is not an error by Inmotek, it simply means that the street has another name.

We work to ensure that the data is as up-to-date as possible, although there may be names of streets, roads and squares that differ from the official ones.
