Electronic signature - GDPR - Billing

Electronic signature

It should be noted that the electronic signature used by Inmotek is the most secure with a double validation channel against email and mobile phone.

Why do we NOT use facial recognition-based signature?

  • There is electronic signature against facial recognition, which we ruled out some time ago due to the volume of recognition errors.
  • It requires certain hardware conditions (type of camera) and lighting and user skill that cause recognition failures, which means the process has to be restarted.
  • This model allows a percentage of coincidence to be set in facial recognition.
  • If the percentage of required coincidence between the DNI photo and the personal photo (selfie) taken with a mobile phone is increased, the number of signers who are not recognised progressively increases, as there are significant differences between their current photo and their DNI photo.
  • If the facial recognition requirement is more lax, errors may occur and the signing person may not be the one who appears on the ID but rather someone with certain biometric similarities.
  • Reducing the percentage of coincidence to less than 50% or less requires that each agency manually validate each signature and also becomes a guarantor in a judicial process of who each signer is.
  • Technologies improve day by day and we do not rule out enabling it in the future.

Improved rates

After a difficult negotiation with our supplier, we have managed to reduce the cost of the dual-channel electronic signature to €0.75/signature, which includes dual validation channel, certified email and SMS.

More things to sign

We are going to add more signature options for visit notes and management and exclusive orders.

GDPR

  • We have published several improvements regarding GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) processing, which include:
  • A button to convert all your inmotek contacts or those from a specific source as acceptors of RGPD clauses
  • A button to convert all your inmotek contacts or those from a specific source as NOT accepting RGPD clauses
  • A notice in the claims if the client has not accepted the sending of commercial communications
  • Two buttons to send the client a request for acceptance of the GDPR via WhatsApp or email
  • A modification to websites so that a user who has received a link to a property on the website is forced to accept the GDPR clauses in order to view the property.
  • A modification in the inmotek administration options to add custom GDPR Acceptance text
